The Antithesis

Tonight, we as a nation, became that which we condemn. Aside from the mounting death toll in Iraq, for the cause of false premises. Aside from what we, as a nation, have endured for the conflated conflict of Bush' madness.

Aside from all that, tonight, we became barabaric beheaders. We became the jihadists.

We cloaked in justice. Yes, Saddam Hussein was a madman and murderer. Yes, he was responsible for the deaths of many thousands more than he was actually convicted of responsibility. Yet, the crucial difference is that his death was symbolic of the lie which has brought us to this point. America can now count itself directly responsible for the death of a human being, amidst a war costing the lives of thousands.

Tonight, I lit two candles. One was for those killed in battle, both American and Iraqi, and all other nations who sent their kids to a faraway land to fight for Bush's madness. The other is for Saddam, who died tonight as an example of the barbarism we have fallen into.

At the same time, I lit afire a copy of the first chapters of the Bible and the Koran. It is from the madness of these two religion that the current conflict springs, and it s from the conflict of these opiates for the masses that more kids will die tomorrow. More families will be impacted by the outcome of our descent into madness.

You forgot to mention the very large number of people who are going to call you 'unpatriotic' or 'unamerican' for questioning the rightous cause of blowing non-americans into small pices and daring the be disrespectful to the Great Sky-Daddy who protects the country.
