Draw a cartoon of Muhammad Day

For Draw a Cartoon of Muhammad Day, I used an app on my iPad to quickly sketch out how I imagined Muhammad living way back in his time.  I like to give him the benefit of a doubt.  I like to think he was trying to come up with a way to unite his people, maybe end some mistreatment or another.  Maybe even try and prompt them into a new era of learning and unity.

I like to think he would be appalled and disgusted by the modern adherents of the religion he created.  He might be horrified to learn that people have been threatened and even killed over depictions of him.  It was a different culture and time and if we could somehow transport him to the modern era, I strongly believe he would be as foreign to modern believers as any historical Jesus would be to Christians.
