As I write these words, thousands of Egyptians are defying tyranny, risking their lives and all else they have to demand a change in their autocratic government. It puts into perspective not only the ongoing struggle between old institutions and the current generation in the Middle East, but also the kinds of rhetoric and language used in US politics.
No, Mr. Teabagger, you are not living in a tyranny. No, you really don't have an excuse to advocate revolution. No, you really don't have it so badly that you could in any way be compared to the valiant and desperate citizens of Tunisia, Yemen, and now Egypt.
