I am not entirely sure I agree with his dichotomy. For example, I am a "power user" (and a highly technical one at that) and while I dig on cool features, I also love my iPad for what it CAN do, especially in the areas I need it to perform.
Can it browse the web? Yes, and damn well
Can it email? Yes, and damn well
Can it IM/chat? Yes, and damn well
Can it do word processing, office type stuff? Yes, and damn well
Can it play games? Harbor Master will be the death of me yet
So what else do I NEED it to do which it isn't doing?
